Somedays ago i published a post about WAKLMAN 2.0 on our phones (P990i, M600, P1i) from W950 but i didn’t explain about how to install it, well, this time no only i’m going to teach you how to install, also i going to teach you how to put W960 skin for your phone and you can view a video of my phone above.

First of all download the WALKMAN package at the bottom of this post. Extract it’s content. I going to call the uncompresed folder “WALKMAN folder” on the next steps. To do this it’s supposed taht you already have unlocked the protected files on UIQ, if don’t you can read the tutorial HERE.

1. You can see 4 folders inside the WALKMAN folder: private, shared, resource and sys. Copy the entire folder with the 4 folders on your phone.
2. Using Swiss Manager Pro, go to the folder that you passed for your phone and go to the folder called private\10003a3f\import\Apps and copy the file that’s inside named WalkmanPlayer_reg.rsc.
3. Paste the file into C:\private\10003a3f\import\Apps .
4. Return to WALKMAN folder, go to private\10202be9 and copy the file named 200011FD.txt .
5. Paste the file into C:\private\10202be9 .
6. Return to the WALKMAN folder, go to private\200011FD and inside you can see 4 files (three images and other file) and a folder called default. Copy all the 4 files and the folder.
7. Paste the files and the folder into C:\private\200011FD .
8. Return to the WALKMAN folder, go to resource\Apps and inside you can see 6 files. Copy all the 6 files.
9. Paste the files into C:\resource\Apps .
10. Return to the WALKMAN folder, go to resource\Plugins and inside you can see 1 file called WPSPlaybackIconsLIB.RSC. Copy that file.
11. Paste the files into C:\resource\Plugins .
12. Return to the WALKMAN folder, go to resource and copy the folder named WPSPlaybackIconsLIB.
13. Paste the folder into C:\resource .
14. Return to the WALKMAN folder, go to sys\bin and inside you can see 6 files. Copy all the 6 files.
15. Paste the files into C:\sys\bin .
16. Return to the WALKMAN folder, go to sys\hash and inside you can see 6 files. Copy all the 6 files.
17. Paste the files into C:\sys\hash .
18. Return to the WALKMAN folder, go to shared and inside you can see a folder named kastor and a file named powervr.ini . Copy the folder and the file.
19. Paste the folder and the file into C:\shared .
20. Well done. Now you can go to Main Menu -> Tools and inside you have to find an application named WALKMAN, there’s the walkman player.
