Omnidic JAVA dictionary for phones

logo

Thanks to a interesting site called La Casa del JAVA i found a cool dictionary for our phones even if those are Symbian phones or not. This dictionary is Omnidic.

First of all, there are very important things: One, is FREE, second is opensourse and most important of all, you create your own installer. How’s that? Well, when you enter to the official site (the link is in the bottom of the post) and you go to download you start by selecting the language packages that you want into the dictionary, right now they have the next translations:

English - Spanish
Spanish - English
English - German
German - English
English - French
French - English
English - Italian
Italian - English
English - Dutch
English - Portuguese
Portuguese - English
Japanese - English

search incremental_search

After that you choose the language of the application in your phone, and finallyyou can choose to download keyboard configurations if you want to add words in languages that keyboard doesn’t support, because you can add word to the dictionary, it’s so cool. And then you download the JAVA installer. Check it out!!
