First of all i want to apologize for the absense of new post those days, that’s because i’m right now in a technology competition called Imagine Cup of Microsoft, and wednesday7th we have to present our project so i an very busy those days, because if my team wins we go to Paris, France in june to the Imagine Cup finals. 

Thanks to Mohammad Ali that pass me this resource, and thanks to swmail because he’s the creator of this awsome modification, now we can raise the volume of our UIQ3 phones, i’m talking about P990i, P1i, W950i, M600.

The trick is very simple, first of all we need to have access to protected folders on our phones (if you don’t do that yet you can see the tutorial HERE) then the steps are the next:

• In your phone go to the folder ‘C:Private10202be9persists’ where you can find a file named 1020867a.cre, copy that file to your PC.
• Download the file that’s below, extract the conten and run se_sound_patcher, select the file ‘1020867a.cre’ copied from phone, and press “Install”.
• Now copy the patched file ‘1020867a.cre’ to your phone in the same location (in dir ‘C:Private10202be9persists’).
• Immediately restart your smartphone.

And that’s it, you phone will have more volume, but i have to say that doesn’t worked for my P990i, to other people maybe yes, for another people maybe not, probably it works or it doesn’t works on all the phones.
