Sometimes we need to show our phones to the people, well, i will have that need in a future because someday i want to do a presentation about Symbian techonology in some class of Software engineering. To do that i need an application to show the screen of my phone on my computer, the inverse of some applications where you can see the screen of your PC on your phone and control it. That application is Image Expo.
Image Expo is an application where you can see and control your phone from your PC, you can use the mouse like a stykus in the screen or you can use the keyboard on the side of the screen.
This pack contains a desktop application and the Symbian application, both are neccesary to the funcionality. You can connect to your PC via Bluetooth or USB, but i only tested the application via bluetooth.
You can configure some things in the desktop application about the look of the screen, one important setting is the colors, because if you look a full color screen on the desktop app the reaction when you do something in the PC and viceversa will be slower, but if you set the colors ona a grey scale it will be faster.
Follow the instructions on the readme file to install the desktop application.Look that pictures while i’m testing the application with my phone (Click on the previous thumbnails to get a complete view).
