Another tought guy in the symbian messenger’s battle, i’m talking about IM+ (IM Plus) developed by Shape Services very complete. IM has compatibility with the next messengers:
- MSN Messenger/ Live
- Google talk
- AIM
- ICQ
- Yahoo
- Jabber
It has some interesting features like the file sending that’s very efficient, and also you can hide your write pane and so on. Look the complete features:
- File transfer. Send files to your IM contacts just via IM+ now.
- Contact list management functions including facilities to add a new contact, to delete a contact and to change nick of a contact.
- Full presence status support. Set your status to give your contacts an idea of your mood.
- Global status. Set status for all IM services with one click.
- Multiple Code Pages support: You can exchange messages in any language installed on your phone (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Russian, European languages).
- Message History. View previous correspondence with your contacts.
- Groups in contact list. Arrange IM+ contacts in a way you want to see them in your CL.
- APN group. You can create a group with APNs that are frequently used while connecting to IM+
- Support requests. Send support requests directly from mobile devices.
- Blocking. Possibility to block and unblock unwanted users.
- Flip Closed mode. Continue communication with the contacts in IM+ in a close flip mode.
- Smileys. Add emotions to your messages, a good set of funny faces available.
- Updates. Get notification about updates or find the information about the latest version in help section.
- Configurable notification options. Sound and Vibration alerts for incoming messages and contacts coming online.
- Three levels of text zoom.
- Jog dial.
- Copy ‘n’ paste support.
This is not the last version (4.03) but it’s the nearest and is full.
