i-nigma (1)

Here’s a powerful QR code reader for our symbian phones named I-nigma. That’s a free QR code reader with a good stuff of features. I-nigma uses the camera of your phone to see and decode a QR code image, so the precision of the application depends in a certain way of the phone’s camera, but it works perfectly with my P990i.

When you start i-nigma you have to open your camera lens (P990i users) and you have a small section where you can see the camera screen, you have 2 ways to decode a QR code: you can press the button “decode” or with the camera’s button you press softly like if you are enabling the auto focus of the camera with the button, then if you have the entire QR code in the screen it works perfectly, and if the QR code is an URL you have a button to visit that page with the phone’s browser.

You also have a menu with things like the lasts news of the official i-nigma web site, update to the last version, invite other people by sending a SMS, looking for other similar products, help and about the application. You have various ways to get it, you can download from your phone with the next link:

www.i-nigma.mobi

And the web site detects your phone model and gives you the appropiate version for it, or you can download directly from the link that’s in the bottom.

I highly recommend the NeoReader, which is a universal mobile code reader that can decipher 1 dimensional UPC/EAN codes, and 2 dimensional Data Matrix, Aztec, and QR codes.
