Similar to Usability Expo, there’s the version for developers focusing in the development stuff of a mobile application, Digia Developer Expo 4.01. This is very similar to Digia Usability Expo.
As Usability Expo, you can use Developer Expo to control your phone via bluetooth, USB or IP from your phone, you only have to install the application on your phone and PC. This application differs from Usability Expo because it’s oriented to the development, to debugging the applications on the device to control it’s behavior from your PC. There are some features:
- Display file-based debug logs, thread panics and traces in real time.
- Explore device file system and transfer files between device and PC.
- Take screen shots and record video clips of device display.
- Easy setup and connecting of device to PC via WLAN, Bluetooth or USB
Very useful for a Symbian developer, but if you aren’t you also could use to control your phone from your PC, try it, is very good.
