I don’t know if this is a game or a strange kind of application but is sooo fun. Line rider is am application where there’s a guy in something like a sled that glides on the ground, but the fun thing is that YOU DRAW THE GROUND.
There’s the third visual style for you from this blog. A few days ago, i was looking the OldWinOs DSMA visual style, because DSMA is a great visual style designer, but i was seeing that visual style particularity and i saw that is a windows visual style but there’s more that you can do with it.
Finally in the first look of the GSMA 2008 we have a video of the presentation of the Opera Mobile 9.5 running on Windows and Symbian devices, in the video’s link we can see some Windows smartphones and a Sony Ericsson P1i while they are testing the Opera mobile.
In the video i could see some cool features of Opera Mobile like the zoom effect, a cleaner menu and so on. Well, check the video and tell me what do you think about it.

This is a little bit out of theme but is pretty cool and geek. Recently i read a post of a blog about SEO, web development and things like that, the blog is www.anieto2k.com , very good. The owner of this blog is Andres Nieto, and he recently bought a 8Gb Nokia N95 and he comment that the phone has a QR code reader, using the camera as a scanner.
Then he wrote a post about the QR code, a variant of the bar code, and he give us a bunch of QR code online generator, QR code online reader and so on, and i tought “Why don’t create a QR code of the site?” and woala, ther’s the official QR code of http://aeblogs.com/uiq !!
If you want to have a hiperlink of us on your blog/website you could use the QR code of the blog, it look very geek and cool, there’s the code if you want to:
<a href=”http://aeblogs.com/uiq”><img href=”http://www.oscarcalderon.info/uiq/imagenes/qrCode.jpg” /></a>
This is the QR code if you only want to see it.

This is dedicated for the software developers and those who wants to be. Probably you develop software in a environment like Visual Studio, Rational Rose, NetBeans, Eclipse or something like that, but’s that is in your PC.
Now think if you could develop applications in your phone and for your phone, that’s a developer dream. But now your dream can be true because there’s Mshell, an environment to develop applications for your symbian phone.
Core Player is a powerful media player (equal or even better than the default media player of the symbian P series phones) because it has a similar interface, and also the same controls of the default media player (you can up or down the volume with the jog dial or pause/play the music with the play hardware button).
That’s a dream or a nightmare? After various generations enjoying with SE+Symbian (P800, P900, P910, P990, P1, W960 and so on) Sony Ericsson launched a Windows-based phone, the XPERIA X1. It has a design like Qtek 9100, i’m talking about a slider with QWERTY keyboard on it (i looove the QWERTY keyboards on a phone) and a little bit bunch of cool features like those:

Another tought guy in the symbian messenger’s battle, i’m talking about IM+ (IM Plus) developed by Shape Services very complete. IM has compatibility with the next messengers:
- MSN Messenger/ Live
- Google talk
- AIM
- ICQ
- Yahoo
- Jabber
It has some interesting features like the file sending that’s very efficient, and also you can hide your write pane and so on. Look the complete features:

It almost be released, the 9.5 version of the popular mobile browser Opera, has just been previewed in time for GSMA 2008. The new version tries to be more like a desktop browser and adds a full text history search, allowing you to find pages you forgot to bookmark previously. Flash gets a look in too, since Flash Lite 3.0 support is included. More, including the press release, below.
Claiming to be 2.5x faster than Internet Explorer Mobile, Opera 9.5 has an improved rendering engine to better handle JavaScript- and Ajax-laden web pages. It can also serve web content directly to a phone’s idle screen, which will either create some cool web-linked functionality, or allow cellphone operators to splash more branding onto their phones. Opera Widgets, and Opera Zoom and panning make it sound like the iPhone’s UI, don’t they?
